Exemplary Rating
Hallsburg ISD received an Exemplary Rating in 2010 and 2011. The Texas Education Agency (TEA) uses an accountability ratings system to rate public schools and school districts. The highest rating is Exemplary, then Recognized, Academically Acceptable and Academically Unacceptable.
Transfer Students
Hallsburg ISD is currently accepting transfer students. Transfer students are tuition free but there is limited seating in each class. A waiting list will be developed when classes fill. For more information contact the Office of Student Services at 254-875-2331. learn more >>
Young Engineers & Scientists
The YesHawks are the Young Engineers and Scientists of Hallsburg ISD. The club aims to promote creativity and innovation by engaging the students in practical hands-on activities as they have fun learning about Science, Engineering, and Technology. learn more >>
Supporting West
Hallsburg Elementary students donated over $820 for our friends at West. Hallsburg wore red on Monday, 4/22/13, in support of the West Trojans and all those affected in the devastation. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with them.
